Nijigen no Mori × Demon Slayer Collaboration Event @Nijigen no Mori
From September 7, 2022, restrictions on entry into Japan on a tourist visa have been eased. Although there are still some restrictions, such as the need to apply for ERFS and to arrange airline tickets and hotels through a travel agency, you can now schedule your visit freely!
Whether you are planning to come to Japan or you are already in Japan, if you are a fan of anime and manga, especially the world-famous “Demon Slayer”, then go to Awaji Island by the end of September!
Experience the world of “Demon Slayer” on Awaji Island!
The Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori”, a popular anime, game, and SFX theme park on Awaji Island, is holding collaborative events with “Demon Slayer” since the April 2022. Visitors can enjoy the world of “Demon Slayer” by solving riddles with the main character Tanjiro and others during the daytime, and through a night walk in the woods that recreates “the Battle of Mount Natagumo” with projection mapping, lights and sounds by nighttime.
This event is available until the end of September. In this article, I will give you a glimpse of the night walk!
Your Mission is to record the demon slayers adventure at Mt. Natagumo!
At night, the woods of Nijigen no Mori transform into the Mt. Natagumo. As member of the “Kakushi” of the Demon Slayer Corps, the participants are tasked to watch over and record the Battle of Natagumo walking the path through woods for 1.2 km.
You receive a wooden tag to collect your records at the reception desk and begin your mission.
You will find 5 check points in the wooden path and choose one of the three black boxes (information retrieval boxes) by holding up the wooden tag you received at the reception desk to collect the data.
After the mission, when you submit the wooden tag, you will receive a mission report based on the record you collected. Depending on the black boxes you chose, you will receive a different mission record.

Don’t forget to take pictures with Demon Slayer characters!
The Mystery Solving Walk “Hanafuru Village and Fantastic View” is held during the daytime. Please be sure to try this riddle-solving event as well.
Nijigen no Mori x “Demon Slayer” Collaboration Events are until September 30, but there are other attractions at Nijigen no Mori such as ”NARUTO & BORUTO,” ”Crayon Shinchan,” ”Dragon Quest,” and ”Godzilla,” and “GRAND CHARIOT Big Dipper 135°”, which has rooms based on those characters.
Near Nijigen no Mori are HELLO KITTY SMILE, HELLO KITTY SHOW BOX and HELLO KITTY APPLE HOUSE, where you can enjoy “HELLO KITTY” attractions.
