Kasumi area of Kami Town was recoginized as one of the locations ofJapan’s 100 Most Beautiful Sunset. At the Imagoura cove, you can see the convoluted coast line of the San’in Kaigan National Park and the brilliant sunset over the horizon in the period from May to the middle of September.
Kinosaki Onsen
Kinosaki Onsen has been told that it was discovered by a “Kounotori” , Oriental white stork around 1400 years ago. It is a beautiful place with the willow trees along the Otanigawa River. The traditional Japanese hot spring town with wooden Japanese Ryokans has been well preserved. There are renowned 7 public baths in Kinosaki Onsen, that are more popular than baths in Ryokans. Enjoy visiting 7 baths wearing a Yukata (light cotton summer kimono) .
